For Jewish Communal Organizations
Max has years of experience working both full-time and on a volunteer basis in the Jewish world, and his work is deeply influenced by Jewish values.  He was both a participant and later a group leader on Project Otzma, a ten-month service program in which he worked with communities all across Israel. He has worked at the Religious Action Center in Washington DC on an initiative to support Ethiopian Israelis, led service trip to Honduras, Ghana, and Ukraine with Jewish young adults as a group leader for American Jewish World Service, and has done extensive consulting with Masa Israel Journey, helping them to build a new capacity for reflection and leadership development into long-term Israel programming that reaches thousands of participants annually.  He is also deeply involved with his local community, Temple Shir TIkva in Wayland, MA.

Max has developed versions of his workshops that emphasize the Jewish texts, values, and experiences that inform his approach to leadership development, and that make this work resonant and relevant for Jewish communal organizations.  He is happy to discuss ways that any of his products and offerings can be adapted to highlight the Jewish roots of this work in ways that make these sessions uniquely powerful for Jewish communal organizations.
